How I build it.
The Vinyl is made of solid wood and comes in two versions.
BeechAll solid beech, shelf edges included. It's a hard, dense wood that carries the weight of a turntable and an amplifier without bending. The cabinet in the photos is walnut-stained.
American walnutSide panels and shelves in solid American walnut, with Wenge shelf edges: almost black, they protect the corners and draw the outline of the cabinet.
It's a finished model: you'll find it ready in our showroom in Cesena.
Shelves housed in the side panelsEach side panel has a groove that the shelf slots into: the weight rests on the wood of the side panel and the cabinet stays more solid. Screws between side panels and shelves hold everything together.
Steel rodsOn the side panels, the steel rods keep the records on the bottom shelf upright.

Three levels designed around the weight and size of your equipment.
Top plate · turntableHolds up to 20 kg. It's the most stable point of the cabinet, well away from the floor.
Middle shelf · amplifierUsable height 28.4 cm, load capacity 20 kg. There's room for air around the unit.
Bottom shelf · recordsUsable height 39 cm, load capacity 40 kg: about 90 LPs with the spines on show.

Frame and shelves are solid wood. The dimensions differ slightly between the beech and the American walnut versions.
